The Western PolyPad is the ideal choice for those who ride in a Western or Stock saddle, for Polocrosse, Western riding or hacking. It is made with the same durable PolyPad materials that we use across the range. The square design (86cm x 86cm) provides the length needed along the spine to comfortably accommodate the longer western saddle. Being not as wide as the Classic PolyPad, it does not interfere with your leg contact, so you can give accurate aids whilst keeping your horse comfortable.
Traditionally, wool and felt pads are used under Western saddles; this PolyPad provides an easy-care alternative that is ideal for both training and competition. Many clubs use the Western PolyPad for matches, due to the protection offered and the options to customise the colours to that of their teams. We can provide matching or contrasting pad and binding colours, and we can even embroider your PolyPad! You can choose to add text or a logo to your PolyPad by using our easy embroidery tool. This option is perfect for identifying different teams, or for promoting your sponsors. We offer three thicknesses within the Western PolyPad; Single, PlusOne and Doubler. This allows you to create the perfect fitting option for your horse, so that they can perform at their best. The PlusOne or Doubler options are a great choice for those wishing to better distribute the weight of the heavier Western saddle.
