Looking for a PolyPad for racehorses? Welcome to the Racer PolyPad! When the PolyPads brand was created, it was initially intended for use on race horses. As the equestrian world took advantage of the pressure relieving, durable qualities of the brand, PolyPads has expanded to supply saddle pads for more than just racehorses, but the industry still uses PolyPads every day.
The Racer is the ideal PolyPad for racehorses; the original Classic PolyPad has been extended in width and length to accommodate the racing saddle better. We have eliminated the need for more than one PolyPad with the ‘Doubler’ thickness. The ‘Doubler’ thickness is equivalent to the thickness of two ‘Single’ thickness PolyPads. We use an insert that is stitched all the way around to prevent movement. The insert does not extend to the base of the pad, which provides better contact for the leg, allowing you to give accurate leg signals despite the extra thickness. Using one PolyPad instead of two is a more economical choice, which also saves you time in washing and drying, and even saves you space in the tackroom!
