A quilted outer with a towelling inner helps reduce rubbing and chaffing on the shoulder and wither areas, preventing those unsightly bald patches.
The item has a material loop on the front for hanging and/or drying whilst stabled or if you have a stubborn/difficult rug this loop can be used for threading your rug strap through to keep the rug in place on the Vest.
Unlike the lycra versions, the PolyPad Anti-Rub Vests have no straps and simply slides over your horses head before rugging up - a great help on those cold mornings / evenings when your fingers can't handle yet more straps & buckles!
Just like all PolyPads products, the durable polycotton material washes easily at low temperatures returning your vest to its former glory with ease.
NB: The sizes are a guide and you may find that if your horse has a broad chest area that you will need a bigger size. We can make them smaller or larger if required, please email first if you need a none standard size.
